The team from Germany achieved its 2nd consecutive victory after convincingly defeating Austria: 10-0. The match was played at Sant Boi’s baseball stadium and confirmed the team’s aspiration to be among the continent’s best. Manuel Moller was the winning pitcher. He scored a game with no hits nor runs. He pitched 7 innings where he didn’t allow any hits, eliminated 7 rivals and only let go a base on balls to the first batter in the batch.
