Netherlands achieved against Sweden its 3rd and easy victory in the European Baseball Championship. The result of 14 a 2 sentenced the match, as in the 2 last matches, with a difference in the 7th inning.

In the 1st inning the scoreboard stayed 0, on both sides. In the 2nd inning the Dutch batters had 7 hits including a homerun by Raily Legito and scored 7 total runs and made the scoreboard show 0-7.

Legito, before being replaced by Vince Rooi, hit his 2nd home run, a grand slam. Netherlands scored in this inning 6 runs and the match started to get out of hand (13-0).

The Dutch team turned a double play on defense, and Yurendell de Caster hit the team’s 3rd home run that made the score 14-0.

The Dutch changes gave life, in the 5th inning, to the Swedes who scored 2 runs on a triple by Magnus Pilegård.
