The Czech Republic defeated Austria by 6 runs to 2 in a match within Group A during the 4th day of the European Baseball Championship, played at the diamond Torre Roja in Viladecans. Austria was ahead on the scoreboard on 2 occasions: in the 2nd, at 1-0, and in the beginning of the 4th when an entry in home made the 2-1, undoing the tie that had been established in the former inning. However, in the same inning, when the Czech team got ahead, the Austrians equalized again in their 7th turn at bat, scoring 4 runs that established the final result. |
