Great Britain left the scoreboard Ukraine showing cero. Great Britain easily reached 9-0 the Ukraine, a result that allows the team directed by Stephan Rapaglia assures the 1st position in their group. The starting pitcher for Great Britain, Brian Essery, scored the triumph after an outstanding performance during 5 innings, where he allowed for 5 hits and eliminated a batter. Essery was replaced by Sam Whitehead, Craig Pycock, Aedem McQueary and then Paul Waterman who organized themselves to complete the scoreboard that stayed blank in front of the very depressed Ukrainian batters. In the winners’ defense Brant Ust excelled, taking 5 turns on the bat, with on hit, 2 doubles, on RBI and a couple of bases on balls. Ust is confirmed as on Eurobaseball’s most dangerous batters. |
