GERMANY 7 – GREAT BRITAIN 5

FINAL ROUND

Great Britain, the sensational surprise of the European Baseball Championship, lost against Germany by 7 runs to 5 on the second day of the Final Round.

During the game there were several changes to the score board. Germany started out with 2-0, a difference that Great Britain reduced to 2-1 in the 2nd inning.

In the 4th inning, the British team had an advantage of 3-4 that was maintained until the 7th inning when the 2-1 that was shown on the score board by the end of the inning left a draw of 5 runs.

Germany sentenced, in the 8th inning, establishing their 2 scores on the final scoreboard.

German Enorbel Marquez, who closed the match on the mound, was the winning pitcher while the loser was the English relay Stephen Spragg.
