Netherlands is the European Baseball Champion

Netherlands left things very clear upon defeating Great Britain 6-1 in the European Baseball Championship: that the Dutch team is, without any discussion, Europe’s best national selection. The Dutch victory has meant the 5^th consecutive European title and the 20^th prize in the Continental Tournament.

Today, against Great Britain, the sensation of Eurobaseball 2007, the match was defined, from the 7^th inning, by the strategy of both defenses, as the Dutch players did not excel with important differences during their turns at bat (3-0 in the 6^th inning).

In the 7^th, however, the powerful Dutch team did work and doubled the number of runs registered until then, establishing their score at 6-0.

Great Britain didn’t touch base until the 7^th inning, when its 1^st hit, by Brant Ust, allowed him to reach the 2^nd.
